To support high computational requirements to meet the objectives of the various programs and initiatives, NCORE has an extensive network infrastructure (click on the figure to view network details). This includes a collaboration/training room equipped with workstations and advanced audio-visual equipments (including the use of Smart Board) to support training and other related information dissemination activities.

The fast Internet connections, Silicon Graphics Fuel™ workstation and Silicon Graphics® Onyx® from Silicon Graphics, Inc. allows for distributed processing for the computation and graphic intensive projects. Depending on the availability of funds, more workstations, servers and related facilities, are expected to be acquired to improve the visualization capabilities of the center (3D presentation of the simulation results).
